This shot could be better I think, looks a little flat overall, which might be because of single RAW? You also have a problem with the sky - greyed out flat areas. And, I see a fair bit of fringing on the tree branches. I take a lot of photos with trees

The subject is very unique and framed well, however you will see much improvement with "bracketing" your shots with one of a higher exposure, one normal and one under exposed.

Hdr for me for this kind of image is not the solution with a single exposure.
Lightroom4 with a graduated filter and working on the highlights, shadows, clarity is much better!
