"Frankly my dear.. I don't give a damn".. Rhett Butler.. Voted the best quote of any movie line of all time and from the movie "Gone with the Wind" which was written by Atlantan Margaret Mitchell and about life before and after the U.S. Civil war in the mid 1800's in Atlanta. Ricardo.. hope you enjoy my re-creation of Tara at a distance as seen on the original movie posters of the 30's. Thanks to Mrs. Eugenia Craig McGee for allowing a shoot on her Craig Plantation which was the largest cotton plantation in my county and about 2 miles from my home. It was built in the early 1800's and added onto after the civil war. Fortunately it was not burned down by General Sherman when he burned Atlanta and everything in his path on his march to the sea and Savannah, Georgia.

Thanks John, I loved it. It's a shame not to allow tourist visits to appreciate this monument to the movies.

Great shot John. A little less saturation and it would be a 10 from me.

This is not Tara Ricardo. That was on a movie set in Hollywood which has now been torn down shamefully. This is a real deal plantation house with descendants of the original family still living there. Just looks like it.

Nice to have a bit of a back story! Nice shot with some good details but I do think it is over-cooked to be honest. The blue in the sky doesn't really look like the right shade of blue to me! Also there's some rather extreme purple fringing on the fence
