This might possibly be the bluest grass I have ever seen. I have been the DC and I don't recall the grass being this hue. Oh and grass isn't like snow where it reflects the sky, so that can't be it. You know they have this thing called color correction.

You might give that a shot. Oh and regarding compostion, unless this is the Leaning Tower of Pisa I don't think it's supposed to lean to the right like that. You might check Youtube, I am sure they have some videos that can teach you how to correct the

Like perspective and color in sky. Nice light stars. Not sure about color of grass, could be some ice on a very early morning but also think it is to blue.

I think your note to me points out that it is leaning to the right ever so slightly. The bottom part of the left of the monument you can see all of the scaffolding where as you can not see it as it is hidden by the not box. Maybe it's just my percep

maybe the sky light turned the grass into blue but you can manage this out using Photoshop. I agree with the crop suggestion.. a nice post though
