Going thru some old hard drives I found this one of St Josephs Lighthouse a few days after a fifty mile an hour blizzard. The shot was taken in about the last thirty seconds before the top edge of the sun dipped below the horizon. I merged first in Photomatix Pro, second I removed lens aberrations with an older program called Piccure +. I then upconverted with Topaz gigapixel 4 times. This was taken with a 16 megapixel camera. By up-converting then resizing back to out of camera it markedly will increase the detail without sharpening
