http://martinsoler.wordpress.com/2010/01/27/london-city-hall-and-tower-bridge/ As I mentioned in an earlier post, London is a fantastic city for a photographer – lots to see and all that. As we were walking down the Thames to the Tower Bridge we did the classic tourist mistake of going to London Bridge and realizing that it was a really boring Bridge and so had to walk over to the Tower Bridge which was the one we wanted to see. In fact the picture of me in my “About” page was taken from the London Bridge. Well it’s not too bad as it got us walking more (our feet were already sore). I was astonished to find the London City Hall building so modern and at major contrast with the Tower Bride so close to each other. Something that the French would never have permitted. But that’s the beauty of London, and that’s what gives London a difference and it’s own charm. It’s an HDR photo obviously and as I couldn’t get all the pedestrians to stop for the three photos I had to mask them in from one of the photos.

I too like the contrast between the 2 structures. IMHO....I would crop out the lower left corner to eliminate the people and white object in the water. I would also try to recover the blown highlights in the sky. Very nice capture overall! 8/10
