The Earth's shadow is the shadow that the Earth itself casts on its atmosphere. This shadow is often visible from the surface of the Earth, as a dark band in the sky near the horizon. This atmospheric phenomenon can sometimes be seen twice a day, around the times of sunset and sunrise.

interesting, first time i hear it. nice sky. get rid of the vignetting and maybe the half of the grass. looks flat there. if so, straighten horizon. push more the sky not the grass.

You should straighten the horizon and give a bit of overall contrast.Good compo, sky and scientific news!Sometimes the hood of wide-angle produces vignetting.
