Built in 1959, today part of the "German Navy Museum" in Wilhelmshaven. There is presently an exhibition (until June 30) of Buchheim's photos "DAS BOOT - DIE FOTOGRAFIEN" Have a look @ marinemuseum.de

Nice shot. Maybe I would have moved in closer to get rid of the extraneous stuff on the right side of the frame. What do you think?
