In Nov. 2010, I was on an assignment for taking landscape pictures for a winter sports wear catalog. The destination is Siguniangshan Mountains(meaning, Four Girls Mountains) in Sichuan Province. The picture was taken on our way to the mountain and I was at about 4500 meters above sea level at this time.
The picture is the rear view of the mountains which is quite different from the "normal" view.
The mountains were bathing in the setting sun and the cloud looked like smoke.
It is very hard to take out the tripod at this height but also a little bit difficult for taking hand held because of the difficult breathing in the thin air.

Splendid shot, reminds me of the Andes Mountains, when I traveled to Chile
