Forty foot fishing boat destroyed in Conway blaze. AN ABANDONED fishing boat was destroyed in a huge blaze. Three fire crews rushed to the Quay in Conway after receiving reports a 40ft fishing boat, named locally as the Grey Lady, was well alight. They spent more than an hour tackling the fire, which saw part of the road near the castle walls closed off, but no-one was injured.

I'm attracted to the beuatiful reflections cast into the water but yet as a woodworker of 40 years + saddened to see the timbers in the hull begin to decay. May the Grey Lady rest in peace and cheers to all who labored on her deck in the Irish Sea during
