This picture was taken at the small fishing port of Mallaig in the north west of Scotland. I was struck by the burst of colours from the nets and boats and by the guy going about his daily business. I tried seven exposures but the boats were moving, making a normal HDR difficult. In the end I selected a good single image and created a +2.0,-2 series in ACR before tonemapping in photomatix.
