IMO applying HDR to a face may make the person look older because one of HDR objectives is binging out details. maybe it's better idea if you want to make a hyper portrait. btw this picture is not bad

Well... I am not sure if I understand you. In first part you are criticizing use of HDR for portrait on the other hand you are saying that picture is not bad. Using HDR helped me to bring all details (hat and face) in relatively difficult light condition.

Go back to no HDR , remove the right hairs and you got a great portrait !

You try to change the concept of this picture when I preset her as realistic as I could with all imperfection on her skin, hair in her mouth. That is a character of this picture. Of course I can make her looks perfect with plastic like face but it

I would never clone it out. Deserves way more than a 6. Hope that helps.
