At Leka's suggestion I cropped the top of the photo, reapplied the vignetting and it looks much better! Thank you for the suggestion!

I think it looks better. Now I cannot get my eyes from that barrel, I feel like it's pointed right at me and cannot look away. Before there was more distraction

Hahaha I love it. It almost looks like his head is floating in mid air with the composition. I know it's not though. Great shot

LOL, it's because the arm is at face height :)). I can't even look at him, I am always fixed on the tip of the gun. Hubby is more like a prop :)))

I am not qualified at this point to judge the photo with a vote but.. you might consider having hubby remove his ring if you shot it again. It draws my eye away from that fine.. vintage cap and ball hand-gun which is the main focus point.. Just fuel for t

NO….. NO…..Sorry but this to me promotes violence……I appreciate this looks like a very old gun & the POV & the process deserves (8/9)…alas the negative vote……(6)…….sorry, my view….

Just seems a bit dark. You have done much better, but creative ideas are always a risk!

I see you have re-posted this one. It looks much better with the new crop. In the earlier post I made a joke with 'Kids don't try this at home'. Looks like inkslinger took it seriously.

@inkslinger...I am lost for words...I am one of those crazy liberal, anti-gun people...to accuse me of promoting violence is a crass insult! THIS WAS JUST FOR FUN! Bleah!

And Sir, your information it is not an old gun, it's a TOY!! A replica we got at Waterloo so it is not a gun! Ask before you insult people you don't know!
