I love the image just not sharp enough IMO. These kind of images usually have the center of the flower razor sharp even if you precess it softer.

Simple, clean bot needs pin sharpness for effective. My humble tip would be to put the camera in manual focus and 'live view' zooming in and paying attention to centre of flower when adjusting focus.
