Not always, but many times a photo has a story behind it.
A former colleague and close friend of mine a few years ago he settled in Madrid, Spain. A few days ago with the support of my wife and mine, could sell his home in Montevideo. The fact is that via Skype said "I have some decorations in the garage and I would like you the stay" also told me "in a bag there is a black metal box, which I think is a camera that belonged to my father in law. At the time we could not open and stay there."
Well, withdrawal things and I get to study that black box, which eventually was sealed carefully with a screwdriver I could finally open, my surprise was great when it came out a bellows, with a lens, a viewfinder, etc.
That antiquity, I said!
Researching on the Internet I found several interesting things:
Provably is a camera Ernemann.
Once Ernemann Heinrich (* 1850 +1928) around 1890 With His Partner Mr. Matthias founded "Dresdner Photographische Apparate-Fabrik Ernemann & Matthias".
This camera can be, 1903 and no later than 1926.
Have the Vario shutters 25, 50, 100, B, T speed settings.
The lens is Spezial aplanat 1:8-F-135mm (lens shown in 13.5 cm)
The aperture ranges from 8 to 32 F-Stop.
Takes 6 x 9cm 8 pictures
Viewfinder: brilliant type
Truly a treasure for me, now relies on a library shelf of my desk.

My dad had a similar, but much newer version of this type of camera. Nice image. I like what you have done here with the B&W, the old pics and the frame.

9.9.. Great comp as I have no problem with the 1/2 lamp. Excellent process. Without the frame corners this is Perfect in my eye. Front-runner for me so far today.

Corners are a wink to the old album, if you look across full screen, has the same white frame
that the photos pasted in the album.

The purple color cast on parts of the image distract me, I think it would have been better without. The rest is superbly done, the corners for me is an add to the image.

Do not understand what your thinking is behind your NEW Voting Method, but each to his own. Agree Bjorn, except for Purple Cast this would have been my Second 10 of the Day. Beautiful nonetheless....Favorite!
