The road winds down one side of a perfect, fjord-like lake, and every few kilometers, the mountain views change dramatically. pretty natural, and with how the voting system works this would have to be a 15+ ;)

I am not sure if you are using Photomatix Pro 4.2 or not.
You can reduce only blue color. Try it.

Hi. Cheers for comments. Blue cast was already removed from the shadows on the distant mountains with Photoshop. You think I need to take out more blue? Thought it looked about right here... ?

Nice image, very well proportioned and natural process. The center of the lake looks very bright for sun reflection.

Love this Sherz....oustanding image......would be a perfect 10 apart from the brightness on the lake
