This covered bridge is about 5 miles from my house and is just beautiful. It's under lit with warm lights and built with heavy sturdy wood over a river spilling into a lake just below. There was a storm moving in and the sky was an odd orange cast from the sun shining from the west against the clouds at sunset.

Very dramatic Randall,maybe just a little overcooked my friend(this is always subjective though).I think 8.5 is fair score here which gives you an a 9 :-)

The dark angry sky does it for me. I love it when mine turn out that way, so this is up there for me. Great job on not having any halos too, that can be tough with these types of shots.

@Johnt I think it is technically in Covington, there is an old toll house just past the bridge and a farm across the street with a barn on the side of a steep hill. You should run down there some day.
