This is a giant 12 feet tall wooden guardsman in conway castle wales. The fact that he is made out of wood and looks somewhat like Johnt struck me immediately, being made out of wood is apt, with Johns expertise in the field of carpentry. Hope you like it John and dont take offence he is a very handsome giant:)

9.5 for me. Love this interesting piece. The main body is cut out on a large band saw (24" inch throat or more) and the details were then hand relief carved with carving tools. Nice shot but in-justice to the carving to comparing to my ugly mug. haha
