As I was focusing on a close-up of a flower, this 7 inch beauty
appeared in my viewfinder. As luck would have it, I had a 85mm
lens with an extension ring on my camera, which got me less than a foot away, close enough for both of us. Shot at f/2.8
Anyone know what type of spider this is?

Superb Paul, a 10 if the shot was head on. Just bought a set of extension tubes...

Superb capture, beautiful DOF. Just feel the body could be a tad sharper.

I love this macro, by his words, was a photo opportunity, I could not change the shooting angle.
