Taken from the floor, looking straight up at the grand dome inside the magnificent Hagia Sophia. The grand dome is 55 meters high, and 32 meters in diameter. The beautiful chandelier in the lower left is suspended under the dome's center with steel rods. The dome is not perfectly circular, and its imperfection can be seen in this image. But bear in mind that this structure was built in the year 360 - amazing!
