This wooden structure is the only symbol of the culture of the freed slaves who settled in the province in 1821 from Philadelphia, USA, this beautiful temple was the only survivor of the two destructions suffered by the people of Samaná, in 1945, a fire consumed dozens of structures and in 1972, the late former President Joaquin Balaguer wanted to give it a more modern samanes community and ordered to destroy all Victorian wooden houses, the building was saved by the resistance of the people. The sanctuary represents the culture of freedom of a population that arrived in Samana with the dream of building a new life.

Suerte que se pudo rescatar. Proceso agradable, quizás un poco más cerca se vería mejor.

Excellent, superb work with the wires/cables. Superb details when viewed via the download. Bjorn crop is a good suggestion but still a 10 for me...
