This is my first ever school in Bretby in Derbyshire. I left there in 1964(!) and went back for a nostalgia visit a couple of weeks ago. It's a beautiful village in a beautiful part of the country. Sadly this is no longer a school, but a private residence. I guess, as they say, nostalgia ain't what it used to be.

I like the composition with the road curved to the right, the process something strong but I think that fits into the landscape.

I respectfully disagree about the saturation, HDR is an art form. Is a painting over saturated...in comparison with what the eye saw...yes probably. My eyes love this image, and it is like a painting.

Sorry guys but there are times when "over saturation" is 100% appropriate. THIS is one of those times. I think it would be different if let's say the reds were way out of proportion to the rest of the colors. This is a particular style that is appropri
