I had on similar to this up earlier but I didn't like how it looked. So, I redid it. This one has more of a brass color tone which I like better. The other one lacked character I thought.

I do like the tones, composition and overall lighting, just wish the cherries were not so dark.

I prefer this color tone the sepia adds richness to the cherries.

I prefer the tones in this re-post apart from the cherries Phil. They are the main subject of the image (Title) but are lost, too dark. they were better in your original post.....IMHO

Good process, mayby the cherries should have been more red in colours.

I can see what you all mean by the color of he cherries. They really are not a bright red. These are a little darker in color. Not sure why

it's funny everyone prefers the original post but I got only 1 vote on it before I took it down. It had been up for about 10 hours

Phil, only one has stated he prefers the original post, some others & (me) have only said the 'Cherries' looked better in the original/or are too dark in this.....

I like the concept, I have a similar composition. I think it would have been better, not give coppery tone to the entire image, but to work with layers and let the cherries in its original color and less dark.

I went back and looked again at the sink shot, one of the things that I liked was the water, is this water aerated? Making it white?

If these were black cherries, then their colour is quite normal. Great photo.
