This is another shot taken inside the walls of this old castle. This courtyard "The Dolphin Pool Area" dates back before 1790 and was reconstructed from the remains of the clay walls and floors exposed in 1982. In the past, the dolphin or mythical sea creature was a popular maritime symbol often used on maps etc. the reconstruction of this pool was made by using descriptions and sketches made by a certain Lady Anne Barnard in the late 1790's. The Dolphin can be seen here on top of the fountain. The buildings in the background used to house the bakery and offices.

The building and the water are truly magnificent. The sky needed bracketed shots to bring out some cloud detail and for me I would take out the leaves at the top of the frame and small bush bottom left. Please accept a one size fits all 10 vote

Agree with Steve, the leaves and bush are blurry and should be take or clone out, also just a bit too much denoised. Still superb clean pic.

The Pixel Police are here to stamp their critique: Superb John, download shows the excellent detail. I agree with Billyspad on the leaves, they are slightly distracting...Hope you like my new 'Pixel Police' Avatar...ha ha

Probably should have either cloned the leaves or cropped tighter. Plus the sky either has brush strokes or is just off

Agree about clone out leaves on the top and also leaves on bottom left corner
