I took this photo a couple of years ago on spring in our garden. For me, it is one of most beautiful flowers with gorgeous color. I tried to do a close-up shot with silky look and emphasize its color. Hope you'll like it. I know, that whole flower is not in focus as well as background but I wanted the core of the flower to be sharp. It's also heavily cropped. Thanks all for views, comments and suggestions, Roman

Having just the front part of the flower in focus is perfectly valid Roman. All I would say is if the intensity and saturation of the green leaves was taken down a little in photoshop it would concentrate attention more on the flower

Like the blue color in the flower but right part of flower out of focus some and background somewhat distracting IMHO
