@Phil there are a lot of water on the roof and wood that is is why dark.You shouls have put some water drops on top of your flower yesterday. Is that a bed suggestion?

@Ed look at buildings and the grass field. They are already over bright.
The pinetree woods after rain just look like that.

Using the Color Control Point in NX2 you can isolate any area, any size and open up dark areas without effecting areas around it such as the grass field. I am well aware that one is not going to get a lot of detail and color from these trees with the Suns

Sunset so low and behind the trees. But at the same time 9 exposures should have gave it more than is seen here. When it does not the NX2 can help you achieve this and give the dark center more color and clarity. That was my only point.
