Turul Monument (Tatabanya) The Tatabanya TURUL memorial representation of Europe's largest bird. The open-beaked bird bronze wings extended between 14 feet, claws hold a sword on his head stylized gilded Hungarian Holy Crown is located. During the 1896 Millennium celebrations entrusted with the preparation of the monument sculptor Gyula Donath, then finally inaugurated in 1907. The statue commemorates the victory over Arpad conquering Magyars of the Moravian prince Svatopluk victory. (Unfortunately, the cloud point was sitting at the bottom of the statue, so it's a little disturbing)
