Notes RAW files converted to TIFFS (with adjustments in LR5). Merged to HDR in Photomatix 5 as a 32-bit TIFF. 32-bit TIFF tonemapped two times in Photomatix 5. Two tonemapps blended using Photoshop CS6. Final adjustments in LR5 and Photoshop.

Coming back from a day of shooting, my friend and I spotted this abandoned house. Funny how we passed it earlier that day and it did not look very interesting. The wind was very strong (hence, the drama in the sky) and caused lots of problems. Lots of waiting involved. First, for the sun to break out of the clouds to light things up, second, for the wind to die down prior to losing the sun again. Lots of ghosting issues that Photomatix 5 did a nice job with.
In my opinion: subject - 10, composition - 9, process - 10. Overall - 10.

Impact: 9, Composition: 9, Process: 7. = 8.3 (8). For me the focal point is not there (house should be 'In Focus' + as it stands the pink flowers on the tree take the eye away from 'This Old House'...Just my thoughts...
