This tree was one many very large trees that lined a walkway in a local park. However when we had a very bad storm one night many years ago it was struck by lightning...
The park authorities decided to have the tree cleaned up & some carving were done on the trunk...It was then placed in the ground at the same spot it originally stood...
I converted this to B&W as it was a winters day & there wasn't any colour in the actual tree....

Excellent detail in the download, perhaps a bit high in contrast, but very well done.
