Call me the 'Ghost Whisperer' & I am 68 this year Fred...The ghost on the stairs look like a 'Grey Haired Old Lady' with dark trousers...You may have seen someone around like that at the time...If you didn't then you may have captured something special...

The other one, I can only think may have been some one walking through your shot holding something that reflects light enough to make that light area going across...
