  • Notes Photography is banned in this place, but it has windows and, using this small camera, with the lens as close as possible to an acceptably clear and flat pane of the old glass, and cupping a hand around the gap, it was possible to get a decent image and exclude side light pretty well. The HDR processing was done in Photoshop HDR Pro.

This is one end of the library in one of the oldest wine farms in the Western Cape. It looks like a nice quiet place to relax with a good book, surrounded by antiquity.

Excellent Composition but a bit too many Cons for my POTD vote. I read your NOTE on how the image was captured. Still the WB is far too Warm or Yellowish. There is Noise or Artifacts on the end of the Sofa and the Window light is Blown out due to processing. I truly hope you will not take my opinion of this image as a personal attack but as an honest critique. Keep Clicking!
