The interior of a gift shop at a garden center in Sycamore, Illinois. I took this image for the purpose of processing in the most visually natural way that I could, the array of contrasts in the scene. From the extreme shadows of the background to the bright blue skies out the skylights and windows, and the shaft of sunlight hitting the floor in the foreground, presented those challenges. Not necessarily a particularly interesting scene but a good technical processing challenge. Click on portions of the image, and observe some of the detail in the shadows as well as the highlight areas.
