A Civil War re-enactment showing canon fire. This image was taken on a tripod as an HDR for the background and the clouds. A burst was then taken immediately as the fuse was lit and followed through after the blast. The entire shot from fuse, fireball and the extension of the smoke was layer blended in Photoshop to create the experience of the entire shot. It was converted to a monochrome except for the use of selective color to show the fireball.
