HDR loves Chrome and so do I. Far cry from my 2017 Buick Lacrosse. Today they produce Cars, back then they built Automobiles. Cars today just try to copy one another. Great Example of Art on Wheels.

@digicam my first “real car ( automobile”) was a 1957 Olds 98 convertible with tri-power. I called it a “land yacht “. About 20 years ago I tried to find one to restore. Never could though. I did see one at a car show about 15 years ago. I tried to but it from the guy. He spent five years doing everything himself. He had over 105K into just parts and materials. Not his labor. He said he needed a lot of years to go by before he could withstand the pain of selling it.

@steve_zasadny, '57 OLDS 98, WOW you must have felt like royalty.
My first "car" was a '63 Plymouth Valiant , 3 on the Column powered by a Straight 6. Paid $300 for the car and my insurance was $330 a year......Quit Laughing!
