Early morning frost. This building was constructed in 1850. It is listed on the Wisconsin and National Registries of historic places. The framing is held together with wood pegs. This is my favorite old building, I have photographed it many times.

While I like the overall composition the processing leaves a lot to be desired. Snow has burnt spots center foreground and in other places the processing has left the snow too dark. Also Green Chromatic Aberration on side of Large Tree between buildings. With a D810 you would make much better images if you shot 5, 7 or 9 Exposures and processed with a better HDR program such as Photomatix Pro 6.0. Just a suggestion. Thanks for posting.

@kitfox , Sounds Great. Just remember NOT to go crazy with the Sliders. Try to keep it natural as possible. Don't Over Process and Don't Over Saurate. Sometimes less is more. Have A Great Megapixel Day!
