This is the front room of one of the cottages in the1900s Pit Village in the Beamish Museum. The village has been recreated to show a colliery community at the time of peak coal production in the North East of England.

Wonderful Capture and processing Simon. Only thing missing is 0EV of this image to show the contrast of before and after. You should message Carlo and tell him you would like to try the HDR Switch. He gives One Month Free Trials to anyone who ask for it. Thanks for sharing the FRONT ROOM, and keep posting.

Congrats on POTD Simon. I was going to give it to Jim because of all the work he did, but this image won me over. Most indoor images I see done the White Balance is always far too warm, but you nailed this one, great detail also. Well Done.

Many, many thanks, Digicam, Steve and Joseph, for your comments. Much appreciated. Can someone enlighten me about HDR Switch? Not heard of it until now . . .

@simon_bull , First you must be signed into your account for all functions to work correctly. Next, Take a look at Jim's (kitfox) is image from yesterday, the VW Bus. You will see Top Right an Orange Slider. This is the HDR Switch. It is meant to show the 0 Exposure Value of the image. While viewing the HDR Switch image, Click on the Cross Arrows (FULL SCREEN MODE) Top Right. This will show the BEST view of the Final HDR Upload. The 0 EV is uploaded in the the box just below the box where you uploaded your Finished Processed Image. This is to show Contrast between your Single 0 EV capture and your final processed HDR. You can do this with a Plus Membership which also includes multiple uploads daily and helps support the site, or you can contact Carlo for a Free One Month Trial. Congrats on POTD.
